Cathleen Richardson’s Biography:

Cathleen Richardson has been a pioneer educational technology specialist for over 15 years. Working closely with classroom teachers, principals and district administrators, Cathleen strives to achieve best practice technology infusion into teaching and learning with high energy. Her expertise in the field of eLearning and Web 2.0 technologies is showcased through her column on the premiere educational web site Hotchalk.

Today, Cathleen is at the forefront of Mobile Device and Web 2.0 technologies. She’s deeply committed to helping learners understand the transformational power of technology. Her intimate knowledge of teaching and learning, down-to-earth style, and powerful message of empowerment have made her a highly sought after keynote speaker. Cathleen has spoken at over 40 local, regional, and national conferences and subject matter expert in the areas of Web 2.0, eLearning, New Media, Internet Safety, Mobile Technology and Apple hardware/software solutions. Cathleen is a former Board of Trustee for the National Coalition of Girls’ Schools and served on the Advisory Board for Tech&Learning.

Cathleen has a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Media from Clark Atlanta University, where she is a guest lecturer. She has also earned a Master of Arts in Instructional Technology from Troy State University. Cathleen is honored to be an Apple Distinguished Educator and a Google Apps for Education Certified Trainer. In 2007, she gained national recognition when she was named as one of four finalists in the Leader of the Year Program sponsored by Tech&Learning. As an Apple Education Development Executive, she uses her passion for cutting-edge technology to discover creative ways to assist schools and organizations in meeting their learning and productivity goals.
